The Gauthier Family and Roadsport Auto Group graciously donated a genuine Honda HRR MicroCutTM Rear-Bag lawnmower to St Leo C.S. to raffle off. We started the raffle at the auction and it will continue until the Spring Fling. At the close of the Spring Fling, Mrs. Ugrin will pull the lucky winner’s ballot out of the raffle box. Starting Monday, you can buy your tickets to this raffle on-line: 1 ticket - $5.00, 5 tickets - $20.00, 20 tickets - $50.00. If you are buying tickets for other people (Your neighbours? Your granny?), please fill out the names and phone numbers of the purchasers on the ticket sheet being sent home in backpacks (and attached) and return it to school. No ticket receipts will be sent home. Your name and phone number will be written (for each ticket you purchase) on a ballot sheet which will, in turn, be put into the raffle box. Please share this raffle with all your friends.
To support our busy St Leo parents who take little time out for self-care, the St Leo CSPC will be hosting yoga/wellness evenings for parents Wednesday May 22nd, Wednesday May 29th, Monday June 3rd and Monday June 10th from 7 to 8pm in the school gym. All are welcome. We are currently working on providing childcare if you need it. Confirmation on that to follow. Thank you to parent Niki Robitaille who secured the grant for these evenings and sourced the instructors. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
We need some volunteers to clean up the CSPC lock up. Stephanie Naval has graciously offered to spearhead this activity so even if you didn’t know we had a lock up or don’t know what’s in it, we can use your help. Stephanie knows what’s what in the locker so extra hands are all we need. This would be a daytime activity during the week, so let me know if you have time and which days would work for you, then Stephanie will be in touch to make arrangements.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the on-line auction this past week. I will be in touch with everyone in the next day or so – whether or not your bid was successful.
This week we will hold a second on-line auction for the items still remaining. Now is the time to pick up a good deal. There are a few very interesting items still available. Final bids need to be sent to this email by 11:59 pm Friday May 17th to be considered. Don’t delay. Send in your best offer.
