Hello St Leo Community,


Last call for Raptors 905 tickets.  The last day to purchase tickets is Tuesday January 22nd at 11:59 pm.

  • The game is on January 26th and tickets are on sale for $25.  Tickets can be purchased through cash on-line (www.schoolcashonline.com), or you can send cash or a cheque to the school with your child.  Please write cheques to St. Leo CSPC

  • Tickets purchased prior to Tuesday this past week will be distributed to children on Monday.  Please note that all of each family’s tickets went into one envelope to one child.  Check backpacks on Monday evening.

  • Tickets purchased after this past Tuesday and by the deadline next week – will be sent home in backpacks on Friday January 25th. 

  • Congratulations to Jayden Williams (and his Mum) who sold a whopping 21 tickets and is the winner of the locker room tour for himself and his family,

  • I will be sending an email to all attending families regarding fan tunnel participation.  Thanks for supporting your school!

Below are all the updates you need for the coming weeks:

  1. Seems I forgot to share the winners from the fall cookie dough sales.  They were as follows:

    • The 3 top selling families:

      • Ms. Ryan $1,010 with 36 units sold (Ms. Ryan won the tablet)

      • Nathanael Burnett $1,000 with 30 units sold

      • Naval Family (Joshua and Braeden) $582 with 32 units sold

    • Winners of the Sky Zone Passes:

      • JK/SK/ME:  Braeden Naval

      • Gr 1- 3: Nathanael Burnett

      • Gr 4- 8: Grace Larsen

  2. On February 1st, the students will be treated to a story teller reading a book entitled Henry’s Freedom as St Leo C.S. celebrates Black History Month

Reminders in case you missed them the first time:

  1. Friday January 25th is a Civvies Day.  Don’t forget your twoonie.

  2. Canadian Parents for French (CPF) in partnership with St Leo CS is presenting IDÉLLO on January 30th at 6:30 in the school gym.  Please join us for this free event to learn about the wonderful resources available through IDÉLLO to support your child’s learning and engagement in French language and culture.

  3. The Junior Boys soccer tournament is on January 30th.  Practices continue.

  4. The Junior Girls soccer tournament is on January 31st.  Practices continue.

  5. Save the date – the annual silent auction is scheduled for Friday March 1st.  Please start collecting donations from your favourite vendors.

  6. Kindergarten Registration in Toronto Catholic Schools has begun.  Children born in 2015 are eligible for kindergarten starting in September 2019.  Parents can complete their application online at SOAR.tcdsb.org, and follow up with a visit to the school to present the required documents. The online application is available 24 hours.

  7. In person evening registration in the St Leo C.S. office is also available on Wednesday January 23rd at 5:30 PM.
