April 27th Newsletter

Hello St Leo Community!!

  • Did anyone see the glow radiating from St Leo C.S. on Wednesday?  That was from the coaches of the Junior Boys’ Basketball Team who were still beaming from the fantastic showing at Tuesday’s tournament.  The boys lost the finals by just one basket!!  They still brought home a pennant!  Thanks to Coach Lehane, Coach McCann and Coach Jordon.  Thanks also to the Grade 8s and even the St Leo Grade 9 Alumni who helped with the coaching.  The fruits of all that support were clear on Tuesday.  Congratulations Boys!   Go Lions Go!
  • Watch out for the glow you will see radiating throughout Mimico tomorrow.  This one will be on account of all the proud coaches, proud parents and of course our awesome St Leo Swimmers.  This weekend’s swim meet was amazing.  St Leo had all kinds of swimmers in the finals today, many top ten finishes and even a bronze medal in the freestyle relay.  Despite some game day jitters yesterday morning, the kids did a fantastic job and made St Leo proud.  Congratulations to all of them.  Thanks to Coach Jackie, Coach Claire and Coach Blair who have worked so hard with the swimmers these past few months.  Go Lions Go!

Below are the reminders you need for the upcoming weeks:
