November 23 Newsletter

Hello St Leo Community – Just a quick one tonight.

Below are all the updates you need for the coming weeks:

  1. Marlies tickets are still on sale.  The game is on Dec 2nd and tickets are on sale for $25.  Tickets can be purchased through cash on-line (www.schoolcashonline.com), or you can send cash or a cheque to the school with your child.  Please write cheques to St. Leo CSPC.  There is still time to get a spot in the fan tunnel for being a top 20 ticket seller.  Tickets will be available for sale until Tuesday November 27th.
Tickets will be sent home in backpacks this week.  Any tickets purchased before November 15th will be standard card tickets.  Any tickets purchased after this date will be pdf print-outs.  They all get you in on Dec 2nd.

  2. The annual Hat and Mitten Tree collection is underway.  St Leo is decorating the tree in the office with donations of new mittens, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, ear muffs, headbands and other cold weather gear.  All donations will be delivered to the St Vincent de Paul society.

Reminders in case you missed them the first time:

  1. On Monday December 10th St Leo will host a special presentation on Internet Awareness and Safety.  Students will receive a presentation during the day and Parents/Guardians are invited to attend a presentation for parents and care givers in the evening at 6:30 pm in the school gym.  The presenter, Paul Davis, is a well-known expert in the area of cyber bullying and internet safety.  His message is direct, poignant and very important for students and parents alike.  Please add this date to your calendar.
