St Leo Weekly Newsletter - week ending Jan 19

Hello New Year St Leo Community!

Some important notes about safety in the parking lot.

  1. Parents MUST turn off their cars when they leave them to bring their children into the school.  It is an unsafe practice in an area with many children to leave your car running while you walk into the school/yard.  Several parents had to be asked to turn off their cars this week.  For the sake of all our children … and our environment … please turn your car off before you exit it.
  2. The parent parking lot is a busy place in the morning.  Busier when there is a mountain of snow in the corner.  Please use parking spaces only (do not park in the middle of the lot) and please take extra caution when the car is moving.  It is slippy underfoot and with so many cars and so many little people we all have to be extra careful.
  3. Unless you are disabled, please do not park in a disabled parking spot.  We do have disabled parents and visitors to the school.  They need these spots.

****If you have time to help organize the skate locker on Monday at 10 am – please just present yourself to the office at that time. One or two volunteers would be helpful. ****
