St Leo Weekly Newsletter - week ending June 2, 2017

Hello St. Leo Community!

Four more sleeps till the Spring Fling .... and that is almost all you need to know this week!

  1. If you would like to volunteer at the Spring Fling and you haven’t let us know yet, then please respond to this email.  We can always use a few more volunteers.  Parents, older siblings, grandparents, neighbours – all are welcome to volunteer.  We will have a job for you!
  2. If you haven’t sent in your previously loved stuffies for the Spring Fling Stuffies Wall, please put them through the wash and send them off to school by Thursday morning.
  3. If you will be sending in baked goods for the Spring Fling, please drop them off at the school on Wednesday at the earliest and by Thursday afternoon at the latest (we need some time to put prices on them).
  4. Pray for no rain on Thursday!
  5. On Thursday June 22nd at 6:30 pm in the school gym, St Leo is pleased to be hosting a presentation for parents by Paul Davis on SOCIAL NETWORKING & ONLINE SAFETY.   Paul is a well- known contributor to various news programs and has also worked with law enforcement agencies – RCMP, OPP and CBSA.  Paul’s expertise is in the area of Social Networking Safety.  His presentations educate students and parents about responsible use of technology.   See attached flyer.  We look forward to seeing you!
  6. Pray for no rain on Thursday!
  7. To all the Grade 8s leaving for Ottawa tomorrow, have a great and safe trip!
  8. Don't forget that Friday is a PA Day.

As always feel free to contact me if ever you have concerns … or just want to share some great ideas … and don’t forget to check out our website at and follow us on twitter @stleosfun

See you on Thursday.  Pray for no rain!
