It provides much needed support to students who live below the poverty line within our school board. If you're curious about it, please look up:

CSPC and the School are working hard to make the sand an enjoyable experience for all.  The children absolutely love it but please encourage them to dust themselves off and empty shoes and pockets before entering the classroom and leaving for the day.  Brushes and bins are outside each classroom as well as on the fence beside the sand pit.  Too much sand was initially delivered, making it difficult to contain. The TCDSB contractor will be on site this week to remove any sand not in the pit and to bring the level of sand below the pit perimeter.   In addition, children will have designated sand playtimes to minimize the amount of sand leaving the pit but still maximizing the proven and enormous benefits of sand play.   Further literature and an update will follow.   A huge shout out to Mr Charlie, our caretaker for going the extra mile!

A huge thank you to our Community Partner Sandy Bodnar of REMAX Homes.  She continues to support our school year after year and I can personally say is a fantastic Real Estate Agent! Check her out at www.sandybodnarhomes.com
