And the Oscar goes to... Good evening St. Leo Community.  Check out our website at http://www.stleoparentcouncil.org, follow us on twitter @stleosfun and like us on Facebook!

Thank you to all families who brought in family photos for tomorrow's Virtue Assembly.  We are a FAMILY at St. Leo and the students of Ms Policelli's class invite all parents and families to join in Monday, February 29th at  1:00p.m.

We are thrilled to announce that after countless hours of advocacy St. Leo has been ranked #2 by the TCDSB for a new facility.  The next step is for the Ministry to approve this application.  Please consider writing an email to MPP Peter Milczyn (pmilczyn.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org) to support that our facility is outdated, in disrepair and in need of a rebuild. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about our status or the SARC process.

Chess Club is this Tuesday at 1:00p.m.

The next CSPC meeting is this Wednesday at 6:30p.m. in the school library.  We will be doing a mid year budget review and all are welcome to join in as we decide remaining spending for the year.  We need your input.   It is important that all voting CSPC members are present for this meeting and that we have quorum.
Spring Fling and Auction committee meeting will be this Thursday at 8:00p.m. at Michelle's house.  If you are interested in helping out on either of these planning committees please respond to this email for further details.

Pizza Day is Wednesday.

Save the date for April 16th when we will host our first St. Leo Community Night and Auction.  Tickets are $10.00 and include entertainment and appetizers! If you have any items/services or gift certificates that we could put on the auction block to raise funds for the school please respond to this email or fundraisingstleos@gmail.com

Swimming practice will resume as scheduled this Friday at 7:15a.m. and Saturday at 4:15p.m.

Check out the attachment for a great opportunity from the Raptors for the March Break.

As we approach our first Spring with our new trees and Learning Garden we will need to put plans into place for stewardship by teachers and students.  Teachers please reply to this email if you have any ideas that can be incorporated into curriculum to make the best use of our new gardens.
