Weekly CSPC Letter September 20th

A huge thank you to all of the parents who attended Curriculum Night on Thursday!  A special thank you to all the parents, community partners, teachers and students who volunteered their time to make it such a success.   A great start to the year!  Please let us know any feedback that you have so that we can make it even better next year! 

A huge thank you to St. Leo Dads: John Zarand, Dave Burleigh, Jeff McGrath and Chris Szarka  for their hard work in building the teaching platform/ stage and blackboard for our outdoor classroom this past weekend.  Reminder to please wait until Wednesday to use the chalkboard as the paint needs to fully cure. 

We are so thrilled that our new gardens and outdoor classroom are coming together.  The EcoTeam is open to any suggestions to make it as accessible and curriculum friendly as possible.  If you would like to help out on the eco team with watering, planting or volunteering at our unveiling ceremony please respond to this email.  Teachers please let us know how we can help make this outdoor classroom used every day! 

Reminder that our 1st annual CSPC meeting and Elections will be held this Wednesday September 23rd at 6:30p.m. in the school library.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the process.

The Public SARC meeting will be held this Tuesday Sept 22nd at Holy Angels at 6:30p.m.  Please come and support the SARC team as we fight for a much needed new school for our students!  The more parents, teachers and staff there the better!

Reminder that the Opening of the School Year Mass will take place on Friday September 25th at 9:30a.m. at the Church.  Please join the students in worship.  

Cross Country has begun.  The Divisional meet is on October 14th.

The Regional meet is on October 20th.  Both meets will be held at Centennial Park.
