Weekly CSPC letter May 25

Good evening parents and teachers.  Hoping that everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Remember to check out our website www.stleoparentscouncil.org for all things St. Leo.  Here is your weekly CSPC update:

The St. Leo library is busting with new books thanks to a matched dollar allocation by Mrs Ugrin's school budget and CSPC funds.  With $1500.00 worth of new materials, our young readers are in for a treat. Parent volunteers needed to help Mrs Ryan get these books on the shelf!

Reminder for teachers to submit CSPC allocations.

A huge thank you to Jackie McGrath, John Zarand, Ms Starr, Ms LeHane and Mr Punter for their fantastic coaching of our soccer teams. Thank you to Sue Italiano Robbins for making the purchase of new soccer balls a reality with CSPC funds dedicated to the Sports and Wellness Committee.

Reminder that pasta day is this Friday!  Look for forms in your child's backpack!  Friday is also civvies day!

Senior Kindergarten Graduation is June 12th.  Reminder to return t- shirt forms to Mrs Weiss and Mrs Turczyn by Thursday. Cost is being subsidized by CSPC.

Hotdog day is Thursday.  Forms must be returned by Tuesday.  All proceeds go to the Relief effort in Nepal.

SPC meeting is Wednesday June 17th in combination with our Annual General Meeting.  There will be no CSPC meeting on June 3rd due to the Spring Fling.

And now….  for the moment you have all been waiting for THE SPRING FLING!  Folks, if you have not been involved yet, this is the time to contribute.  There are so many ways to be a part of the team whether it is volunteering on the day, baking for the bake sale, donating silent auction items or sending in pre loved stuffies and toys.   Any efforts are appreciated but they are also needed.  It will only be a success if everyone pitches in!  That means you:)

(And it's really fun!)  All info available on the website or please contact our fearless fundraising leader Brandi Ward atfundraisingstleos@gmail.com

Good luck to our students competing at the City Track and Field and Special Olympics on Thursday!  Go Lions Go!

Sponsor of the Week is Kingsway Health!  Thank you for your outstanding support!
